This Worker Platform Agreement ("Agreement") is between you and Operating legal entity will be published here before the first real paid pilot shift.("Kavoro", "we", "us") and governs your use of Kavoro's worker-facing marketplace features. By accepting this Agreement, you agree to these terms in addition to the General Platform Terms and Privacy Policy.
1. Kavoro is not automatically your employer
Kavoro operates marketplace software that helps workers discover shift opportunities and helps posting businesses manage applications, confirmations, attendance, and hours. When you accept a shift offer through Kavoro, the posting business—not Kavoro—is intended to be your employer for that work unless applicable law or a separate written agreement says otherwise.
Counsel review required: Worker classification for any shift depends on facts and Manitoba/Canadian law. This Agreement does not determine whether you are an employee or independent contractor for a particular engagement.
2. Account eligibility and profile information
You must provide accurate account and profile information, including name, contact details, skills, availability, and other fields requested in onboarding. You may not impersonate another person or misrepresent your qualifications.
3. Applications, invitations, and shift offers
You may browse published shifts, apply, respond to invitations from businesses you have worked with before, and accept shift-level employment offers when selected. An employment offer identifies the posting business and material shift terms at the time of selection. Your affirmative acceptance of an offer confirms your intent to work that shift under those terms.
4. Attendance, hours, and messaging
Kavoro provides check-in/check-out tools, hours submission, and messaging connected to confirmed shifts. You agree to use these tools honestly and promptly. Approved hours may be used by the posting business for payroll processing. Kavoro does not pay your wages.
5. Cancellations and no-shows
You may withdraw applications or cancel confirmed assignments through product flows where available. Repeated cancellations or no-shows may affect your account standing. Posting businesses set cancellation policies shown on shift postings.
6. Conduct and enforcement
You may not harass others, misuse the platform, circumvent security, or engage in conduct that harms businesses, other workers, or Kavoro. We may suspend or terminate access for violations, safety concerns, or operational reasons.
7. No worker marketplace fee
Workers are not charged a Kavoro marketplace fee to browse shifts or apply during the current pilot, unless clearly disclosed otherwise at signup.
8. Platform limitations
Kavoro is provided on an "as is" basis during the pilot. We do not guarantee shift availability, selection, hours approval, or payment by posting businesses. Employment disputes are primarily between you and the posting business.
